Angela Wilson is the founder and CEO of the AngelWing Project, Inc. based in Glen Burnie, MD. She leads the non-profit organization in their mission to “positively impact the community by providing uplifting, entertaining shows and events to inspire appreciation for and participation in the arts.” She is a producer, director, an award-winning playwright; and a creative artist with a vision. She also takes part in arts education, teaching a course called Acting is Fun as well as a playwriting course called Write Your Play Right. Angela has been producing and writing plays for over 20 years. She is also a vocalist and praise and worship leader. She has had various acting roles over the years, but loves the creative process of producing a show. Since AWP's inception, Angela has directed and produced over a dozen plays and dramatic events. Her popular play, Tears of the Soul, will be published this year by Heuer Publishing. This will expose her work to over 60,000 theater people both nationally and internationally. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the Black Theater Network and the American Association of Community Theater. She is married with two children and two grandsons.
Dr. Gregory Wm. Branch is the Director of Health and Human Services and Health Officer for Baltimore County. A native of New York City, Dr. Branch is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Nationally recognized as a Certified Physician Executive, Dr. Branch earned the Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business. He is currently on the faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and School of Public Health, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Branch is an internationally recognized Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Branch is the Executive Director and co-founder of Unified Voices of Johns Hopkins, a choir and theater company consisting of Hopkins staff, administrators, students and members of the community. He has directed multiple stage productions including: A Raisin in the Sun, Dreamgirls, Spelling Bee, The Wiz, Little Shop of Horrors, Applause, Steel Magnolias, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Ursula V. Battles’: Teachers’ Lounge, My Big Phat Ghetto Fabule$$ Wedding, DisChord in the Choir: Pitch Please and Serenity House: From Addiction to Deliverance.
Dr. Branch is the proud father of two sons, Byron (Brittney) and Allen (Jasmine) and the grandfather of four, Braelyn, London, Tatum and Noah.
Vivian Gist Spencer, Ph.D. has performed with professional and community theater groups in the Maryland and DC area, taught acting and dramatic literature, and directed theater. . A retired Professor of English and Theatre Arts, Vivian holds a Doctorate in English Language and Literature from University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Communications/Theatre from University of Illinois, Chicago. Prior to instructing at Anne Arundel Community College for 29 years, she taught for 18 years in public secondary schools in Chicago, Illinois, her home, as well as in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In recent years she has also begun teaching African American Literature at the O’Malley Senior Center in Odenton, Maryland.
Reginald Baskerville is an American actor who earned his first IMDB credit playing a jewelry store owner on TV One's "Thou Shalt Not". He learned his craft while attending Morgan State University. Stage plays, dramatic interpretations, and producing his own video movie projects are the tools he has used to sharpen his performance aptitude.
Reginald has worked in the Baltimore City Public Schools for 22 Years. He is an Assistant Principal and Educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Supervision.
Robert is a actor and started his professional acting career upon his return from his first deployment to Iraq in 2009. He has been in participated in variety of productions to include RQL Production's Fighting God and A Raisin in the Sun. Robert is also known for his role as Turner Davis in the hit stage play "Tears of the Soul" which won best stage play in 2019 at the DC Black Theater Festival. Robert is an avid reader, drummer, and stand-up comedian.
Asia served in the United States Air Force for four years as a financial management and accounting troop. After serving her full enlistment period with the Air Force, Asia then transitioned to a financial/customer service role at one of the top Fertility clinics in the nation (Shady Grove Fertility). Asia spent ten years at Shady Grove Fertility serving as a senior patient advocate and financial counselor. Asia has been a part the Angel Wing Project since its inception. She has worked backstage for several productions and is very involved with all events related to the Angel Wing Project. One thing Asia loves about the Angel Wing Project is the community service/outreach opportunities and the relationships that have been formed with the cast members and crews over the years.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration both from the University of Louisville (UofL), and currently works at UofL as the Assistant to the Vice President for Community Engagement.
In November of 2020, with a desire to expand the reach of her spiritual gifts: Administration, Giving, and Service, Susan launched Assist With Excellence (AWE), LLC, a virtual assistant business providing services to non-profits, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. She has provided administrative assistant support to The AngelWing Project since February 2021.
She has been married to Sean Jenkins since 1998 and the mother of two children, Carlton and Jordyn.
